The EU Info Center, working underEskisehir Chamber of Commerce (ETO), held hiking on Sunday (October 22nd) todraw attention to the global climate change within the scope of European UnionClimate Action Week. Nature lovers as well as students attended to the eventwith the slogan "We are hiking against climate change." Itstarted with a visit to the burnt forest site between Tandir andYukaridanismentliler neighbourhoods. Participants were reported in 45 hectareswoodland area that burnt in the fire in September. The hiking that continuningfor 8 km started at Tandır neighbourhood in Saricakaya and ended at Dagkuplu neighbourhood.  At hiking of about 150 people colorful imageswere experienced. It was aimed to create individual awareness by attractingattention to the climate change and the protection of the environment thanks tothe activity. After hiking the European Union Delegation to Turkey’spublications on climate change were distributed to the participants.
