The EU Information Center working underEskisehir Chamber of Commerce (ETO), met with university students through anconversation on volunteerism. European Voluntary Service Specialist EmirhanAslan, Anadolu University Faculty of Computing and Technology EducationDepartment Academician Zeki Dogan and Cafer Yildirim from the Young AcademyAssociation as well as people involved in EVS (European Voluntary Service)projects actively attended at the event organized with the support of EuropeanUnion Delegation to Turkey. The EVS is European Voluntary Service in Turkish sothat 18 to 30-year-olds are volunteering in a civil society organization in oneof the European countries. It was also stated that the European Union's EVSprogram aims to promote solidarity and tolerance among young people and toacquire Europeanism consciousness.  

Experiences were shared with students

Zeki Dogan, who has been serving as theAnadolu University International Relations Unit and Erasmus InstitutionalCoordinator for many years, shared the experiences,  Ali Denizci, one the founders of Dervis Baba,Deliler, Abdallar, Meczuplar and Asiklar movement, told about his activities asa volunter in Eskisehir. Cafer Yildirim from the Young Academy Association gavea speech on the technical details of the EVS program. Asli Kizilcik, who alsostayed in Romania for one year with the EVS program, transferred theexperiences she experienced during this period.
